• THE real reason behind the anti-Semitic slur is that the Blairites, within the Labour Party, don’t want a socialist programme.

When in power they carried on Thatcherite policies. These people should be in the Conservative party but there is no room there for the advancement of their careers.

What is happening now is a form of McCarthyism which has anti-Semites under the bed much in the manner of reds-under-the-bed as of old.

Those who want a socialist programme fell into the plotters’ trap in suspending members who dared to criticise apartheid Israel and its continuing ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians.

Thus they helped to further the slur of anti-Semitism. Of course, anti-Semitism is endemic in the UK and other European countries, and has been for centuries.

But those who don’t want socialism, along with the media, have let it off the leash in an effort to destroy what is best about a renewed Labour Party.
